Working Together to Save Lives: COVID-19 Resource Links
We are working hard to protect San Leandro from the health and economic impacts of COVID-19 on our residents and businesses. Please visit SanLeandro.org/c19 for an extensive directory of services, resources, and financial help for our residents and businesses.
Remember that Alameda County’s safety regulations may be different than those of the state. Please stay healthy and safe by practicing social distancing, wearing a mask, washing your hands, and of course, supporting San Leandro’s local businesses consistent with County guidelines.
Question: What do I do if I’m feeling sick or if I think I’ve been exposed to coronavirus?
Contact your primary healthcare provider. For more information on symptoms, risks, and testing available, please see the California COVID-19 website.
Question: I am a local business owner. Can my business stay open?
Please see the Alameda County Public Health Agency’s FAQ for a list of businesses that may remain open.
Question: My business is hurting because of the mandated closure. Is help available?
Yes, please read the SLNext post on business resources.
Question: Many of the stores I've visited are short on supplies, what should I do?
Our understanding is that major food and grocery stores remain functional and stocks will be replenished. Please be patient. Residents are encouraged to buy only what they need and not to stockpile unnecessarily.
Additionally, meals for certain eligible populations are available for pick up at the Senior Community Center. See the City Services page under "Recreation & Human Services."
